Ethiopian Airlines Receives the Seventh Q-400 Aircraft

Ethiopian Airlines is one of the largest and fastest growing airlines in Africa.  The airline first made its maiden flight to Cairo in 1946 and has continued to provide competitive and dependable services ever since. Adding to its list its aircraft, the airline has recently received its seventh Q-400 Next Generation turboprop aircraft from Canadian Aircraft manufacturer Bombardier Inc.

According to the statement made available on their website, “The Q-400 aircraft will support the ever increasing tourism market of the country and domestic business travel, which is growing fast along side the economy. Besides, the aircraft will serve Ethiopian regional routes”.

Currently, the airlines plies its routes to 39 cities in Africa and a total of 59 international destinations spanning throughout four continents.
